Q: How many pieces is Flash Flood?
A: Flash Flood can perform from a four piece group to an eight piece show. The four piece includes bass, drums, keyboards, & guitar. The five piece adds a sax player. The six piece adds a percussionist. And the eight piece adds a trumpet and trombone player. Our front line is extremely vocally talented, so the harmonies are thick and sound good!

Q: What type of music do you play?
A: We cover everything from old country to R&B, party rock, and classics, up to today's top 40 hits. We can play a variety of dance music and are happy to take your special requests.

Q: What type of events are you available for?
A: We perform at clubs, conventions, weddings, theme parties and outdoor concerts.

Q: How long do you play and how many breaks do you take?
A: Most parties are three to four hours in which we will generally take three twenty-minute breaks. During our breaks we provide MP3's giving you continuous music.

Q: How do you control the volume?
A: We are experts at keeping the volume just right. During dinner we play at a volume that allows your guests to carry on a conversation, After dinner we increase the energy just enough to get the crowd dancing. We use a state of the art sound system that provides the highest quality of sound and our sound tech can raise or lower the volume with the touch of a button.

Q: What are the advantages of using a live band?
A: Live music creates energy and excitement, which simply cannot be captured by recorded music. We can create a mood that will get the crowd dancing without having to pull your guests out of their seats and without the use of cheap lighting and smoke effects.

Q: Will you learn a special request?
A: Usually one or two as long as you provide us with a tape or cd no later than six weeks prior to the date of your party.

Q: Can you provide music for the ceremony and/or cocktail hour?
A: Our guitar players have acoustic material and easy listening music as well as traditional wedding music for ceremonies.

Q: Do I need to meet with the band coordinator, MC?
A: Planning can be done over the phone and via mail or email and fax.

Q: How will you handle the flow of events, introductions and special dances?
A: You provide our master of ceremonies with all the details to specify how the days events will be handled. Flash Flood is experienced at working with event coordinators, catering staff and other vendors so you are ensured that the day will run smoothly.

Q: I've decided that I want Flash Flood as my band. What happens next?
A: You fill out this form - on line anwering questions we have concerning your event. It will be sent to us on line. Then we send you our entertainment agreement, which clearly spells out the terms and conditions. Your deposit, which is usually 50% of the basic charge, is due along with the signed agreement. The signed agreement along with the deposit must be returned to the band within two weeks of the issue date. All dates remain ‘open & available’ until the time deposit is received.
